It's that time of the year... Where some of the greatest Latin Dancers from around Australia & the world gather at the Sydney Latin Festival (Prev. known as Sydney Salsa Congress) for 4 days of Shows, Workshops & a Massive Social Dance Party!

Starts this Thursday 2nd of Feb.. Each night has performances & Social dancing afterwards, Workshops are held during the day..

Dancexcite Performance Team will be performing a conbination routine of Rock & Roll, Cha Cha & Salsa Rueda style on Sunday night.

Tonight (Friday 28th October) we're heading down to Pumphouse - 17 Little Pier Street, Darling Harbour - DJ Starts after 9pm.. Salsa, some Bachata & if we're really lucky some Cha Cha Cha.. As always find the right tempo & you can Rock'n'Roll.. :-)

4th of November - Studio Social Practice Night 8pm till late..
5th of November - The Drey Rollan Band is playing at Ashfield RSL - we'll be there to Rock the dance floor..
11th of November - Pumphouse - Salsa.
18th of November - Jump Jive & Wail - Hotel Chambers - Rock & Roll, Swing (sneak in some Salsa).
26th of November Palladium - We're performing! (You can purchase tickets at the studio or at the door).

We hope to be heading down to the on Sunday so long as the weather holds up.  It's a great family day out, and Sergio & I aim to get there every year.  You may like to get there early in the morning as it is very popular and does get very busy later in the day! Hope to see you there!!

The Fifties Fair is the ultimate celebration of all things 1950s, set in the grounds of Rose Seidler House – Harry Seidler’s first Australian commission (1948–50).

This year’s entertainment includes live music that will inspire you to jive and rock‘n’roll along side our rockabilly dancers, a 50s DJ, live vintage styled mannequins, vehicle displays and kids’ activities. Come dressed in your best 50s threads for a chance to win a prize in the fabulous Fifties fair fashion awards. Specialist collectors and dealers will be selling 50's furniture, clothes, kitchenware, records and much more. Take the opportunity to tour Rose Seidler House which boasts one of Australia's most important post-war design collections.

A free shuttle bus will operate between Turramurra train station and Rose Seidler House for the duration of the event.
