Starts this Thursday 2nd of Feb.. Each night has performances & Social dancing afterwards, Workshops are held during the day..

- Sergio, Bronwyn, Vladimir, Adelina, Rodney & Jessica will be performing a Salsa & Rueda Routine with some Shines & Lifts!..

Youth Latin & Ballroom groups will perform a Waltz, Cha Cha & Salsa routine - Showing the young one's can entertain as much as the Adults..

Zumbatomic Kids will be performing a Lively Zumbatomic routine - Keeping it up beat & healthy..

It was an exciting day at the studio today, we were privileged enough to have the Mayor of Burwood come in to have a Photo Shoot with our Kids & Youth dance students for a feature section in Ciao magazine promoting the Burwood Spring Fair!

We're performing Zumba at the Fivedock Ferragosto - You could be too! - Street Fair. August 14th Time to be advised.

Should be a nice day out in the Sun (We hope). Great opportunity to either participate in the Zumba session & perhaps demo to friends & family what it's all about!

Class Updates:

The Winter Blues have kicked in & as you know it's hard to get out of the house.. But now is the time to attack the Summer Body Goal!

Classes are running as normal (even in this Terrible Sydney weather!)

Friday's session however has been a casulty to the lack of numbers.. We have had to place it on hold during the cooler months but do hope to bring it back onto the schedule when things warm up..

To entice you back into the Studio... We are now lowering our Casual rate & introducing a 10 session pass.

Get into the Fitness craze - Zumba!

Rock'n Good time out last night.

3rd Friday of each Month DJ's Limpin' Jimmy and The Swingin' Kitten hold Jump, Jive & Wail at Hotel Chambers & boy do they turn up the heat!
With all the major Swing Schools supporting the night there were some amazing dancers from Swing Time Australia, Swing Patrol & Blue Suede Shoes.. Plus some good'ol Trocadero dancers & some new Dancexcite students in the mix.

With music ranging from swing, jump blues, rock 'n' roll and rockabilly the night keeps your toes tapping & wanting to keep dancing. I haven't been for sometime but walking in & finding a club full of good friends from past & present - felt right at home.

Keep an eye out for our next outing - Keep the date in your diary - 3rd Friday of the Month.

Don't forget our Rock & Roll classes commence again on the 4th of August:

9pm Intermediate / Open

JAZZ
Whether you’ve had experience dancing or have no experience at all, our Jazz classes are fun, engaging and creative. Focusing on all aspects of jazz including jumps, kicks, pirouette’s (turns), flexibility, strength, stamina and combinations. The jazz combinations and routines are modern and fresh, with something new to learn every week.

Wednesday 5pm - 5:45pm Juniors
Thursday   5pm - 5:45pm Teenagers

BALLET
Based on the RAD Ballet Syllabus, our ballet classes focus on barre, centre work, corner work and combinations. Developing the student’s turnout, upper body strength, leg strength, gracefulness, leaps and jumps. RAD is known for its fantastic ability to develop the student as an all round dancer, it helps with your technique for jazz, tap and even hip hop.

TAP
Based on the modern styles of the Glenn Wood Tap Syllabus, these tap classes are fun, challenging and exciting. Focusing on basic skills such as, pick ups, shuffles, nerve beats, time steps and rhythm steps. Students will learn to listen and understand music and enhance their timing and rhythm. Tap is perfect for students that love music.
