About Us

A little information about who we are and what we do!
Dancing together since 1996, as dance partners, as friends, and now as husband and wife. We have learnt so much through dancing. Not only how to dance, but also about each other and ourselves. We have also been given an amazing opportunity to pass our knowledge on to you. We love teaching, and get great enjoyment out of watching people progress and improve in all aspects of dance. We have had may Experiences and Achievements in our dancing careers, some of these include dancing at the Sydney Opera House at the Lord Mayors New Years Eve Party 2004-2005, Old Parliament House in Sydney 2005, and the 2000 Olympic Closing Ceremony.

Yes, we used our Wedding Photo's for the Web Site!!

We look forward to meeting you in the world of dance!
I started dancing in 1996 thinking it would be a short stint, I believe it will always be a Huge part of my life. Dancing gives me a freedom & enjoyment that nothing else comes close to (In public). Dancing has allowed me to grow as person (some would argue this…because of my warped sense of humour), I like to spice up my lessons with humour – best remedy to get past those two left feet.

Dancing has lead me through a journey of learning to dance, Competing in Latin & Ballroom + Rock n Roll competitions, Performing - Stage Shows, Sydney 2000 Closing Ceremony, ABC O’Lochlan Show, Rock n Roll Video Clip,
Weddings and Functions & at lots of Parties,.  Finally through teaching being able to pass on my experience and ability to others, this has been its greatest gift…

I thoroughly enjoy teaching Private lessons and small groups, with Bridal lessons being a special bonus, knowing I’ll help make their most memorable day extra special. As Robin from Trocadero Dance once told me, teaching people to go from two left feet to dancing on their own & seeing the enjoyment and achievement is the greatest reward, I couldn’t agree more.

Learning to dance is never easy, but learning to dance at Trocadero Dance in Burwood proved to be very enjoyable with such dedicated, passionate and fun filled Teachers. Learning is part of a social event that focuses more on the fun side rather than the frustration. The reward is being able to go out social dancing – some of my best dancing has been in a pub or RSL in front of a live band!

My goals in dancing are simple, yet frustrating. To enjoy as many dance styles as possible. As difficult as learning is when you first start the rewards are never ending.

If we meet, Don’t hesitate to grab me for a dance. Yee Haaaaaa

Dancing has been my life since I started at the age of 3, and I love it! I began with Jazz Ballet, then took up tap, and even had a go a Classical Ballet. At age 11, I wanted to try something new, and took up Latin, Ballroom, and Rock’n’Roll dancing. From the first day of Kids Classes, I absolutely loved it and just couldn’t get enough. I soon found myself involved in the Adult performance Troop and began competing in Latin and Ballroom dancing Competitions.

I have now performed at many functions and events, including the Lord Mayors New Years Eve Party at the Sydney Opera House 2004-2005, Old Parliament House in Sydney 2005, and the 2000 Olympic Closing Ceremony.

I have now been teaching for over 5 years and love being able to share my knowledge with others. I teach private lessons and classes to both adults and children in Latin, Ballroom, and Rock’n’Roll. I especially enjoy teaching and preparing bridal couples for their special day.

I believe that dancing is great in every way. It’s a fun way to keep fit, a great opportunity to meet new people, and allows you to learn a little extra something about yourself that you may not have known before.

Why not give it a go and find out for yourselves?
Hope to see you dancing soon!
