I started classical ballet at 6 and as a teenager loved doing Jazz before discovering the exciting world of "Partner Dancing". Ballroom Dancing can make you feel like you are floating on cloud (Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Vienese Waltz). Latin is all drama and fun (Cha, Rumba, Paso, Jive and Samba).

For 10 years I did competition up to professional level in Ballroom Dancing and New Vogue. My dance partner opened up his own dance studio around 15 years ago and initially we partnered up for performance work and competition.

I completed my dance teaching qualifications including an Australian Dancing Society Diploma in Ballroom Dancing and other teaching qualifications in Rock n Roll and Swing/Jive. My teaching experience has ranged from adult classes, private lessons (for bridal and medal examinations) and the kids/teenage classes including choreography for performance work.

I especially love fusion of different dance styles and would like to do every dance style that exists on earth! Its all about great music that makes you want to move! Once you have the dancing bug you can't help but share your passion for dance with others.
